Marc-Antoine de Villiers
Academic Director
Marc began his academic journey at the University of Nice in 2001, where he graduated top of his class with a DEUG in Economics and Finance. He then continued his studies at Paris Dauphine University, earning a Master’s degree in Finance in 2006.
He was recruited by the Van Der Moolen fund in Amsterdam, where he was trained in scalping and day trading, quickly rising to become the firm’s top-performing Junior Trader.
Upon returning to Paris, Marc founded his own intraday trading fund, Millésime Fund, along with a training company, Traderformation.com. From 2008 to 2010, he lectured at Paris Dauphine, before joining the Millennium Partners hedge fund in New York. In 2012, he moved to Monaco to lead a team of traders, and later relocated to Nyon, Switzerland, where he managed trading operations for a family office.
In 2014, Marc returned to France and founded the Diamond Trading Academy, inspired by Anglo-American models. Today, he serves as a trainer and professional trader at Xeilos Trading Academy.

Today, while the profession of Trader continues to attract growing interest—thanks in part to increasing media exposure—the reality remains harsh: many aspire, but few succeed.
Personally, I began my journey in 2006, at a time when the market still offered many job opportunities. I worked for major hedge funds across Europe, where I advanced successfully and profitably.
In 2024, the landscape has completely changed. For university graduates, retail traders, and other market enthusiasts hoping to become professional traders, the path has become long, uncertain, and nearly inaccessible.
That’s why, last year, I made the decision to give everyone a real chance to pursue their dream—and to truly thrive. I founded Xeilos Trading Academy, inspired by the well-established Anglo-Saxon trading academy models.
To succeed, trading must first and foremost be a passion—before it becomes a profession. And everyone should have the opportunity to access it with ease.
